ManUtd have identified Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim as a long-term successor for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer was given his marching orders after Manchester United suffered an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend.
Ralf Rangnick has signed a six-month deal to take over as the interim manager, but the club are still on the hunt to find a permanent solution.
