Manchester United resume first-team training following Covid outbreak in the squad - as Ralf Rangnick's men aim to be back to host Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday
Manchester United are expected to return to their Carrington training base today and resume training operations, following a Covid-19 outbreak across the squad.
On Monday United were forced to shut down their training ground for a 24-hour period in order to combat and minimise the spread of the virus.
As a result Thursday night's Premier League fixture away to newly promoted Brentford was postponed, though there remains hope United can return in time for the weekend.
On Saturday the Red Devils are due to face Graham Potter's Brighton at Old Trafford, in the 12.30pm kick-off slot.
