Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has provided a positive update on the calf injury he sustained against Aston Villa in September.
Maguire has been virtually ever-present since joining the Reds from Saturday's opponents Leicester City back in August 2019, but has recently been out of action.
Our towering centre-back picked up a calf problem against Villa at Old Trafford last month and therefore missed our encounters with Everton and Villarreal, in the Premier League and Champions League respectively.
As a result, Harry was not selected for international duty with England during the break.
While speaking to our reporter Mark Sullivan, in an interview you can see in United Daily from 18:00 BST, Maguire shared a positive update on his injury.
“Yeah it's getting there,” Harry said about his recovery from injury.
“I still haven't trained yet with the squad, but I am getting better, I am progressing as I should be. It is obviously a frustrating injury for me to get, but I am progressing and I will be back on the pitch soon.”
